Googly moogly it's that time again! September has been and gone, so here's a thread of my favorite books of the past month! If you need recs. for new and continuing books, this is for you, but moreso it's to show some love to the creators who made these awesome comics!
@mmmmmmmmiller Buying one CD allows you to WALK PAST THE GROUP. So extreme fans buy multiple, so they can say something to the members. Sometimes the CDs include lotto tickets to win performance tickets, again, to make fans buy many of them and therefore get an increased chance of winning.
@mmmmmmmmiller I have a coworker caught up in a similar thing, buying 10s of copies of CDs at a time, at 1500 yen a pop, to "Support" a group. It seems most of their money goes to them. It's insane to watch, especially because besides this, they're an intelligent and sensible person.
@akiradeath 's new song is like gabba, but more structured than most other gabba I've heard. It's less repetitive, the beat is more complex. I want to hear it at Joyride, but it's so hard and violent! It needs to be played loud in a dark room with flashing lights!
Thanks to Interview with the Vampire, I've often wished to be a vampire - It's immortality with an off switch whenever you want, it's a pretty fucking good deal. I'd love to be one so I could listen to everything he ever recorded, intentionally or otherwise...
Prince just had music pouring out of him all the time. I wonder how he felt about it, really. From the outside it looks like a mania or a possession. But if he loved it, then how wonderful. If not... What a curse.
I don't think I'd have liked to see this live, it's not really something to dance to. It's great to listen to while reading or doing something though! Strange, trudging machine groans.

https://t.co/1sWAvKPfZ8 Really unusual album. This song is what I think it feels like to lose your mind. I had it on repeat for a while... I like it a lot but... Am I okay?
I have another Twitter, @ClarionComicsJP but it’s literally only for me to say nice things about comics and that’s it. If that’s your bag, go over there.
I just discovered Fuki Kitamura. I can't explain her style of music! It's so unique! I really like this one! Glitchy, twitchy electronics with a flute and layered vocals. Bizarre and brilliant!

The guy at the store said “Sorry to keep you waiting!” so I said “Oh no no” (it’s fine.) He said “oh! You speak Japanese!”
I didn’t realize until after, he was polite to me in Japanese EXPECTING me not to know what he was saying. But he did it anyway. I really respect that.
Stumbled upon a really lovely instrumental album! The songs are all built around the drums. Kind of a jazzy, triphop feel going on. This is great!
