I've also experimented with layering the apples on bottom, cranberries in the middle, then more apples on top with some left over syrup and cinnamon over the apples, THEN the crust lid, but I decided cranberries on top was prettier lol, will say the version with 2 layers of apples tasted better!!

Here's the last one I made (at least half way made lol)
I like to thinly slice the apples, layer them on the bottom, then put the cranberries on top, then give it a crust lid

the cranberries are pretty easy too, just make a syrup with water and sugar, throw the cranberries in, boil for a couple minutes, and throw them in :3
