Os fans can complain about Elias but the talent is clearly here. We’ve seen flashes of it all year. The fight in them was shown this week with the Rays/Jay series. Consistency is missing but mark my words the early struggles will give them the experience to find it. #birdland
@CreedWillems Youth baseball is huge down here idk what happens to the fandom when they get older lol. Rays have a good fanbase actually but the stadium is just shit. When they get a new one I think they will draw good crowds. I actually like Marlins Park, just horrible location
@CreedWillems Yeah I live in south FL attendance is cuz of shit product for years and stadium is in worst possible location to get to for games. They just need a salary cap and with that comes a floor. Players never going to agree though so there wont be a 2027 season
@CreedWillems In a way thats how it already kind of works with the TV rights and shared revenue from that. I think problem is that just means the less some of the Owners spend the more profit in their pockets thats why you have like the Marlins with only 81m payroll, 0 fans, still profitable
@CreedWillems I think it comes back to what you are saying with a cap/floor though it all intertwines. They just want control over these guys as soon as possible to avoid spending $$$
@CreedWillems Yeah I am not educated enough on ncaa baseball but I dont really see how drafting an 18 yr old, sending him to rookie ball against other 18 yr olds is more beneficial than him going to college and playing competitive baseball. Developmentally doesnt make sense to me
@CreedWillems Yeah also what if ncaa was more developmental than it is now is that a bad thing? Then you got a 19 year old playing on one of the biggest stages in a CWS atmosphere and getting that experience rather than a low A game no one gives a F about. Idk could be interesting
@SimplyAJ10@Fanatics@MLB You always played with pride and heart bro and even in the times that were probably not so fun for you, you never showed it. Some of the young guys now need to show that same passion. Feel like it’s infectious
