The sheer hypocrisy from Macklemore here is staggering. He suggested that Ed Sheeran only continued his tour because he "cared more about the money" than human rights... Really?

You know what screams, 'it's all about the money,' Macklemore? STARTING YOUR OWN WORLD TOUR!

I don't care if you claim the ticket profits are going to charity. A world tour is a massive commercial engine. The headline hype drives merchandise sales, explodes your streaming royalties, and builds back a career that was circling the drain.

Ed Sheeran handed you a lifeline, put you on stadium stages, and gave you a platform when nobody was listening to you. And how do you repay him? You hijack his stage, force a controversy, leave smaller opening bands completely unemployed (granted, by their own insane choice), and then turn around and launch your own solo tour off the back of the media circus.

You took a global crisis and a friend's generosity, threw them both in a blender, and turned them into a marketing campaign. Get off the high horse. Nobody is buying the saint routine, dude.

My Dad used to say: “when someone shows you who they really are, believe them.” I know it’s an old saw, but it feels tailor-made for moments like this.

When all is said and done, I think the events of the past week will backfire spectacularly for Macklemore and everyone else who bailed on the tour.

Remember: they weren’t taking a righteous stance against something he said or did. He wouldn’t bend the knee so they tried to take him down.

How many times have we seen that play out - in the media, in the arts, and in companies large and small - during the past few years?

After his “friend” jeopardized the tour by dressing in Jewface and tried to pass off antisemitism as political commentary, Ed made the right call.

No matter how much the folks who bailed on him try to spin this is as their free speech being violated, it’s just a case of some people acting like spoiled, ill-informed children and one person acting like a sane adult and a professional.

We don’t give a fuck about your political views or ideologies.

When I watch a movie, I’m trying to escape reality, not to be lectured by an actor who believes fame and money makes them morally superior.

When I pay to attend a concert, I’m there for the music. If you stop the show to scream political slogans and demand that the audience repeat them, fuck right off. You’ve lost me as a fan.

Celebrities seriously need to check their egos. You are not as important, influential or universally adored as you think you are.

We love the characters you play and the music you create. That doesn’t mean we worship the person behind them.

Propaganda TV. Same Rot As The BBC. Defund Them.

Channel 4 aired Dispatches: Tommy Robinson — Where’s the Money Gone? on 9 September. A year of crypto trails, company filings, and selected interviews, packaged as a moral crusade. Limited companies that didn’t file accounts. HMRC questions. A survivor’s claim that her story was used after assurances. Then the predictable chorus: destroy the man, ignore the crime he spent years forcing into daylight.

Robinson put out a rebuttal. Cherry-picking, he said. He denies fraud. He denies perjury. He says he looked at their sources. Supporters and critics can watch both and decide. That is not the point of this column.

The point is who gets the Dispatches treatment — and who never will.

Boycott Channel 4.

They are not a brave truth channel. They are propaganda television for the same blob that runs the BBC: different logo, same sneer, same sacred cows, same enemies list. When Tommy Robinson names grooming gangs, Islamist networks, and two-tier Britain, they do not thank him for the story the state buried. They open a ledger and hunt for a gotcha. When Labour opens the Channel and houses the invasion, when the BBC soft-pedals rape gangs for “community cohesion,” when ministers smash imaginary gangs and collect the boats — silence. Or worse: a documentary that turns the whistleblower into the defendant.

That is not journalism. That is a political weapon.

Smear first. Context never. They will spend twelve months on his wallet and twelve minutes on Rotherham, Rochdale, Telford, Oldham — if that. They will platform every disgruntled associate and every allegation that fits the script, then call it balance because they emailed him for a quote. They will not make a prime-time special on their own industry’s decades of looking away while English girls were industrialised as meat. They will not put the Home Office, the councils, the police chiefs, or the broadcasters who buried the story in the dock on Wednesday at 10pm.

Maybe they should look in the mirror.

Channel 4 lives on the licence of a culture war it pretends not to fight. Public-service branding. Elite taste. Government-friendly framing whenever the target is the native working class who noticed the country changing. Traitors to the people who still pay for the privilege of being lied to. Same machine as the BBC — manage the narrative, punish the heretic, protect the project.

Boycott Channel 4.
Do not watch it.
Do not stream it.
Do not fund the smear factory with your attention.

If they want to talk money, talk about the billions wasted on hotels, asylum lawyers, and France cheques while English towns were sacrificed. If they want to talk accountability, put the officials who enabled grooming on trial — not only the man who refused to shut up. If they want to talk perjury and fraud, start with a state that perjures itself every time it says the border is under control.

Robinson is not above scrutiny. Nobody who raises cash in public is. Watch his rebuttal. Read the filings. Make your own mind up. What you must not do is pretend Channel 4 is a neutral referee. They picked a side years ago. Their side is the establishment that calls Tommy the problem and the boats a blessing.

Defund Channel 4.
Starve the propaganda.
Restore Britain. Rupert Lowe. A knighthood for the man who told the truth when the broadcasters would not — and a boycott for the channel that still exists to bury him.
