Okay consider this: The rich child's egg and the poor child's egg are the same egg. Everything else can be diluted. Watery dal, thin rajma, rice of more-patthar-less-chawal grade. The soya chunks y'all are waving around, who exactly is doing a quality check on the fillers? 10 rupees per child per meal (the improved budget) and you are telling me the paneer will not be ‘analogue’?

In a country where the school mid-day meal has been adulterated and diverted in the scummiest of ways, and where some deplorable scavenging person-in-power is always taking a cut of what a poor child is meant to eat, the egg is the one thing that is (till now) incorruptible.

I would like to take this point, and pin it next to the vegetarianism and caste argument (valid), for one to consider, also.

A year ago, we were selling through Amazon FBA.

There was this guy from Nagpur who, with the help of a local delivery agent, would order our product and then return it after swapping the original part with a cheap replacement. 1/3

Classic ‘order a phone, return a soap bar’ scam.

It happened once. Ignored it.

Happened again. Same guy. Same scam. Reported it and moved on.

Fast forward to today.

The product he kept is malfunctioning, and he’s now asking for warranty support.
