The roads going towards the airstrip is NOT passable. There are very LARGE drifts in front of the store area. Please go around, maybe through town, if you are driving. The rest of town seemed okay, but not great.

Good Morning Shishmaref Community. There are a lot of large drifts on the road. School will be starting at 10:30. Doors will open at 10:10 for Breakfast. If you head out please be careful!

Thursday, March 6, 2025, Shishmaref School will close at 2:30 PM. All staff is mandated to attend a training for the State Testing. Please make any necessary arrangements to help us keep learning and service all of our students.
