@leonie_ruless @AmericanAir That’s so disappointing! I’m so sorry you’ve experienced this too. I’ve had amazing success with @AlaskaAir who has always treated me with dignity and respect. @AmericanAir failed abysmally in every aspect. It’s so sad this seems to be so common in airlines

So, @AmericanAir- do you get so many complaints about your treatment of disabled people that you can’t keep up? Or do you care so little that you won’t staff the “disability team” line specifically for issues with disability related services? Neither option makes you look good

At one point in tsa, the employee assigned to push my wheelchair walked away from me without it and left me standing without aid and forced me to limp and hobble my way through the crowd to where she was. This is all unacceptable. And not even everything that went wrong

@AmericanAir instead i was boarded after they had been called. I was made to hold up boarding as well as forced to stand and wait for people which caused me significant pain. The flight attendants were rude to us and dismissive of the issues

@AmericanAir i have limited mobility and need a wheelchair at the airport. I should have been boarded first, allowing me time to get to my seat and 1. Not have to stand longer than i can and 2. Not have me holding people up because i move slowly.

@AmericanAir employees were rude and dismissive. They failed to follow basic protocols observed on every flight i have ever taken. They put first class passengers first instead of following those protocols that include boarding disabled passengers first. Ahead of first class.
