@AMP86793444 Following the path of Sachin, Dhoni and Kohli, he won't be anywhere near cricket coaching, broadcasting or administration.
I guess the topmost cricketers of each generation in Indian cricket, starting from the times of Sachin have consciously avoided to stay away from cricket.
@APTalksCricket Are they robots or what? Why do they even need someone to give them inputs. They're experienced enough to do that on their own and still if they're not doing it, it simply means they play with ego or dead brains
@AMP86793444 Yes GG's tenure has been problematic especially with the test side, but this problem hasn't arisen now. It's roots have been there since a long time. Indian batters have been struggling against spin since last many years. It's just that earlier lower order batters used to save us
@Iam_amir86@WasimJaffer14 These current Indian players don't have any sort of strategy against spin bowling. They don't use their feet, neither they're able to play sweep & reverse sweep effectively. It seems they don't practice these shots in nets and just try to play them directly in the match.
@Pranay_crazyCri@WasimJaffer14 Was it not dangerous for SA batters then? Majority of SA batters didn't score but Bavuma played so well on the same pitch & even their lower order batter Bosch faced more deliveries than any other Indian batter.
Pitch is just an excuse. You should know how to apply yourself.
@syed_vaseem@WasimJaffer14 And it's not the problem with just the current Indian spinners even Ashwin had the same problem. Still, he used to get wickets because at that time the overseas batters weren't too capable against spin either! And even then good batters like Steve Smith & Joe Root got runs
@syed_vaseem@WasimJaffer14 We should atleast give the credit where it's due. How are Indian spinners better when they can't bowl consistently? They bowl 2-3 good balls in an over & the rest are looseners, while the overseas spinners be it from Eng, NZ, Aus or SA have bowled consistently in right areas!
@iShivani_Shukla Exactly...the fact is Indian batters are worst sides against spin & have no idea how to play spin. Getting out on full & short balls is a sin.
Also in the last 7-8 years, overseas spinners have always bowled well & with better control than Indian spinners who are very erratic.
@toecrushrzzz Why can't we give credit to the opposition players? Both overseas batters and bowlers have been much better against their Indian counterparts. Indian bowlers bowl 2-3 good balls in an over and on rest they allow batters to score.
Indian batters are the worst spin playing side.
@APTalksCricket No...the Indian spinners are just average. They don't bowl consistently well in good areas and are very erratic.
The overseas spinners bowl with much greater control in Indian conditions.
And Indian batters have just been awful against spin in the recent years.
@rameshchitor@AMP86793444 In the last 5-6 years, almost in every series, both Indian batters and Indian bowlers have been easily outplayed by their opposition counterparts.
@rameshchitor@AMP86793444 It wasn't a typical rank turner. Was just a normal spinning wicket. Indian teams in the past have easily scored 400+ runs on such wickets.
The problem is with the Indian batters playing spin. They're easily one of the worst sides against good spin bowling.
@AMP86793444 What you have written is absolutely true...but it's also a fact that Bumrah hasn't been at his best and as effective post his BGT injury. His bowling seems to lack bite. Batters now take him on easily in the powerplay in T20s. Even in Tests vs WI he wasn't as threatening.
Israel has been firmly with India through thick and thin. Asking for cancellation of our diplomatic ties with such a friend based on a conflict which has nothing to do with India, by a CM who has never opened his mouth against China's blatant aggression in Dokhlam and Galwan, is utterly shameful.
