Fascinante.
I am moving my lab (https://t.co/lfswcYG2Dw) to the University of Michigan in August. I am in the process of hiring 4 engineering postdocs and am still looking to fill 2 more positions to advance motor decoding, BCI control of digital interfaces and/or reanimation of the native hand/arm.
The ideal candidates will have a PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, biomedical engineering, or mechanical engineering. Job functions will include setting up BCI rigs, interfacing with commercial partners, and developing algorithms for digital interfaces, neuromodulation, and robotic prostheses.
If interested, please email me your CV ([email protected]) and apply at our posting:

I recently attended the #California#Neurotechnology#Conference at @ucdavis. I met incredible people working on amazing projects and #startups. I also had the privilege of interacting with @sharenarice and talked to her about neurotech startup culture around the world.
Happy to announce that my book is now published.
It's an undergrad level computational neuroscience textbook with a focus on modeling.
It's great for the classroom, but also for readers from other fields (such as ML/AI) who want to learn about biological neural networks

Research assistant position open in our human intracranial EEG (ECoG) lab in NY. Start the new year working in a great team and environment to study cognition and epilepsy! Open for non-US applicants, but not fully remote. Please DM me with questions and CV! (Thank you for RTs!)
It's happening! Applications are open for our Pilot January to February course in Computational Neuroscience!
This is a smaller course in only the Americas timezone, so spots will fill up quickly! 💨

Sci Hub is a "pirate" website with 88M research papers freely available.
Using it is not advisable. We should all try to make billion-dollar acdemic publishers richer.
Here's a thread on integrating Zotero with Sci Hub to get free articles.
PLEASE DON'T DO THIS 😉
One week left until our Fall Expo on algorithmic science, discovery & innovation (Boston 27th Nov).

I'm recruiting PhD students to join my new cognitive neuroscience lab at Binghamton next fall! We'll use behavior, fMRI, and computational methods to explore how humans learn, represent, and flexibly use concepts in language and thought. If this excites you, too, please apply! ⬇️
