Delhi High Court Belt e Belt treatment to Arvind Kejriwal..

Kejriwal : My Arrest is illegal.

Court : Material collected by ED reveals that Kejriwal conspired and was involved in formulation of excise policy and used proceeds of crime. He is also allegedly involved in personal capacity in formulation of policy and demanding kickbacks and secondly in the capacity of national convenor of AAP

Kejriwal : But my Arrest was not necessary.

Court : ED was in possession of enough material which had led them to arrest Kejriwal. Non joining of investigation by Kejriwal, delay caused by him was also impacted those in judicial custody.

Kejriwal : Govt Witness gave donations to BJP and Reddy family is a part of NDA

Court : Who gives tickets for contesting election or who purchases electoral bonds is not the concern of the court.

Kejriwal : The timing was not correct.

Court : Petitioner has been arrested in money laundering case and court has to examine his arrest and remand as per law irrespective of timing of elections.

Good point raised by @SudhanshuTrivedi ji. Since the Lok Sabha is adjourned indefinitely, and general elections can be announced anytime soon, Modi gvt can't enact any new laws at this time. Even if they want, it’s not possible.

#WATCH | On the farmers' march, Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij says "The report on MSP came in 2004 when Congress was in power. Why didn't they do anything in 10 years?... The farmers want to go to Delhi and have a conversation with representatives of the Govt but when they came to Chandigarh, the farmer leaders refused to talk to them. I am surprised that the Punjab Govt has released a notice asking us not to send drones to our border.... When farmers started moving from Amritsar, they did not even try to stop them. This clearly means that they want the farmers to create terror in Delhi. Stone pelting is going on and one of our DSP & 25 other police officers are injured in this..."
