“If PPG had spoken up earlier, none of this would have happened.” But bullies don’t care whether PPG speaks or not. If PPG had publicly said that Valko would return, some antis might even have threatened to die at PPG’s doorstep. So what exactly are they supposed to say? “We hear your voices and will give you a response as soon as possible”? That still isn’t a real answer. People would continue speculating, interpreting every word differently, and the situation would remain exactly the same. And let’s be realistic: PPG can’t even completely control the harassment directed at its own people. YRH has been targeted with countless rumors, and even the children of senior executives have been doxxed. That girl said it herself that reporting it to the police was useless. If even the police cannot control this kind of behavior, how is a game company supposed to? Are people expecting PPG to send the LIs out to fight these bullies? I also don’t understand the argument that this is PPG’s fault because they have supposedly “enabled” these people for years. For the thousandth time, a game company is not responsible for teaching people basic decency. That responsibility starts with their parents, schools, and ultimately the individuals themselves. These people are causing trouble on social media platforms. Shouldn’t those platforms also be responsible for strengthening their moderation systems and taking action against harassment and doxxing? What can PPG realistically do to “stop enabling” them? Turn off comments? Delete comments? Then the same people would accuse PPG of refusing to listen to players, playing favorites, provoking the community, being arrogant, or declaring “war” on players. PPG employees are human beings too. They cannot work 24/7 checking every single comment for malicious intent. And forcing employees who aren’t professionally trained content moderators to constantly sift through this kind of abuse would also expose them to an enormous amount of harmful content. Do their mental health and well-being not matter too? Every time PPG posts an announcement, thousands of comments can flood in within minutes. By the time they delete one malicious comment, hundreds more may already have appeared. How exactly are they supposed to control that? And people acting in bad faith will twist the meaning of anything PPG does anyway. The people who should be condemned and held accountable are the perpetrators, first and foremost, along with the platforms responsible for allowing private information to be leaked. What’s especially disturbing is that some people are clearly using this mental health-related incident to deliberately manipulate overseas players into turning against PPG. They are taking advantage of people’s genuine concern for mental health and using the victims’ suffering as a tool to redirect outrage toward PPG instead of the actual perpetrators. If someone chooses to harass, threaten, spread rumors, or doxx others, shouldn’t we be asking why they chose to behave that way, rather than pretending that a game company can somehow control every individual’s conduct? Caring about victims and mental health is absolutely valid. But hold the actual perpetrators accountable. And maybe hold the platforms accountable for information leaks and inadequate moderation. Know who you should be directing your anger at. #BringValkoBack

@mrmshka the fact that someone is being assigned to upgrade his files instead of removing them means something it has nothing to do with keeping the game from crashing if anything keeping these files makes it crash more so there is a plan hear #BringValkoBack
