🎬 Widow's Bay – Apple TV 🔥
Since apple tv has no intention to promote the best show of the year, I'll do it.
Widow's Bay is perfect blend of horror, dark comedy, and small-town mystery. All begins with a Mayor who wants to modernize a small town in an island, to make it accessible to tourist while facing huge backlash from the community who believes the island is haunted and the townspeople are taken by the 'fog', and anyone born on the island cannot leave it.
The people of the town has their own quirkiness, they have their own 'old-logic' belief system, which results in a its own situational comedy.
This show gives a breath of fresh air in an era dominated by formulaic streaming content, blending supernatural mystery, dark comedy, and heartfelt character drama into something genuinely distinctive.
With its eerie atmosphere, quirky small-town setting, and confident storytelling, Widow's Bay feels like the kind of original television that is becoming increasingly rare.
⚠️ ONE PIECE DISCUSSION ⚠️
Which Straw Hat crew member should master Haki next?
Besides the top four members of the crew in terms of strength—Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbe—which Straw Hat do you think most needs to learn or master Haki next?
So far, apart from these four, there have been a few hints and moments suggesting that other Straw Hats may have the potential to develop Haki.
🔹 Usopp — Observation Haki
Back in the latter half of the Dressrosa Arc (Chapter 758), Usopp awakened his Observation Haki under extreme pressure. He was able to sense the auras of Luffy, Law, and Sugar from the Royal Palace while he was at the Old King’s Plateau near the Corrida Colosseum.
With this ability, he successfully pinpointed Sugar’s location and landed a long-distance sniper shot using special ammunition (ironically made by Kanjuro, who was later revealed to be a traitor).
However, since then, there have been no major updates or confirmations regarding Usopp’s Haki progression. His last notable usage was in One Piece Film: Red, though the events of the film are non-canon.
🔹 Franky — Armament Haki?
Franky’s case is more ambiguous.
During the final phases of the Egghead Arc (Chapter 1119), Luffy instructed Sanji, Franky, and Bonney to hit him as hard as possible so he could use the recoil from his rubber body (Gomu Gomu no Dawn Balloon) to launch St. Marcus Mars away.
All three landed attacks that were able to hurt Luffy. Bonney said in surprise, “Whaaat?! We’re hurting you?!” to which Luffy replied, “Well yeah!! Of course it’s gonna hurt if you guys use Haki!!!”
In the Japanese version, Luffy used the term “omaera” (you guys), which could refer to all three. We know Sanji can use Armament Haki, and Bonney also showed signs of it in this scene.
However, there is no official confirmation that Franky can use Haki. So was Luffy including him as well, or only referring to Sanji and Bonney? This remains unclear and could be an interesting question for an SBS.

So far, among the other Straw Hats—Nami, Chopper, Robin, and Brook—there have been no clear signs of Haki awakening yet.
So what do you think?
