2. Kids on the spectrum often have gut issues so maybe ease up on the slap at parents about diapers at 8.

I’m not offended by the idea of ABA training, just people who think they know what’s best for everyone.

@Mariajosehdlg @buttonslives I can feel your frustration but recognize that there are people on the spectrum who don’t recognize their need to make personal changes. Who knows how she was “helped” by her parents and/or teachers when she was coming up. A very stubborn mindset can be an issue too.

y/a w autism who works SO hard every day just to get through the day without coming home and having a meltdown, I see this trend as well. It’s disturbing. I wish people knew what really being on the spectrum is like and you wouldn’t choose it
