LET'S SHOW SOLIDARITY WITH THE PTI'S PROTESTORS

It has come to light that the Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf leader, Barrister Gohar Khan, announced in a joint press conference today that the general elections of February 8, 2024, marked the worst rigging in Pakistan's 76-year history. Consequently, there is a nationwide protest planned against it by the @PTIofficial on Saturday, February 17, 2024.
I urge all MQM office bearers, workers, sympathisers and independent candidates of @OfficialMqm in Sindh, including Karachi, to participate in PTI's peaceful protest. Not only would your participation make the protest successful, but you would also contribute to breaking the record of all protests in Pakistan's history.

At the same time, I would like PTI's current Chairman, @BarristerGohar Khan, and other leaders to comprehend the disparity between the real MQM, founded by me on March 18, 1984, and MQM Pakistan, created by the army and ISI on August 23, 2016. The world, including Pakistan, is fully aware of Altaf Hussain as the founder and leader of the real MQM. I implore everyone to understand the distinction between the two MQMs.

Additionally, #PTI leaders and workers should be mindful of the adverse tactics used against independent candidates. I appeal to PTI leaders not to overlook the original MQM and Altaf Hussain who stood by PTI during trying times. It is essential to understand the distinction between traitors and loyalists who have made personal sacrifices to support the cause.

As someone who has been a vocal critic of military and ISI interference in political affairs for 45 years, I have faced numerous challenges, including imprisonment and false accusations. I have tirelessly fought against wrongful treatment and discrimination over the years. Therefore, it is my strong belief that the peaceful protest against elections rigging deserves full support and participation from loyal workers, people and candidates.
