SAPS Intensifies Manhunt for Alleged Social Media Predator:

Police are searching for 32-year-old Lloyd Mcdonald Siswe Jacobs, who is wanted for rape and conspiracy to commit murder.

A 35-year-old woman allegedly met Jacobs, who used the alias “Shane Carson” on Facebook, before visiting his flat in Navalsig, Bloemfontein, on 11 May 2025.

Police say he allegedly drugged her drink, raped her in the bathroom, and she later managed to escape.

Investigators believe the suspect used multiple fake social media profiles to lure and attack women.

He is also wanted in a separate Parkweg SAPS case after allegedly threatening to kill an investigating officer.

A warrant for his arrest has been issued by the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court. Police have warned the public not to approach him, describing him as dangerous.
