Today we celebrated our country of the month with some homemade Portuguese Arroz Doce. We also created our own version of the beautiful tiles from Portugal with some symmetrical designs. π΅πΉ
We had the sweetest visitor come in to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day with us. The compassion, love and understanding that we saw from our students was so amazing. #WorldDownSyndromeDay@WWDSS_WWDSS
Today was a great day! On top of it being Twin Day, it was also Movie and Popcorn Day. Oh, and National Cereal Day. The sun also decided to make a triumphant return and send us off into March break.
Parenting tip: Add alphabet noodles to your soup and itβs immediately more appetizing. More than half the class claimed they didnβt like soup before we made it, yet the pot was scraped clean. #soupday
As one of our Lunar New Year celebrations, we learned how to play a traditional Korean board game called Yut Nuri. The game was easy to learn and so much fun to play!
Yesterday we visited Maple, our class tree, to finally take our winter update picture. We also jumped at the opportunity to play on the super cool snow forts that the big kids built.
