Hey guys! I’m sorry this isn’t one of my happier posts but I wanted to ask for prayers for Cas please! Yesterday during Christmas dinner a group of dogs (5 of them) all ganged up on and attacked him, they bit him all over and his chest has a really bad laceration, a deep cut on his shoulder, he can’t lift ether of his back legs or his right arm, his paw also had lots of blood under it this morning, one of his canine teeth is broken off and he has these white scratches over both of his eyes, please pray for him! 🙏🏻 We just checked him into the vet and they’re doing surgery now! All of the healing prayers are appreciated!!

Hey fellas! I just wanted to give everybody an update on Castiel!

On Friday when we took him into the vet the Docter told us that Cas’s wounds were so bad, she couldn’t even do her normal diagnoses and instead had to take a few steps back like she was examining a crime scene. She said he’s in a massive amount of pain and that the pack of dogs injured him from his tail all the way to his nose and that the wound under his chest was so bad that she couldn’t even determine if the bulge coming out of him was because of layers of skin that they gnarled on or if they tore one of his intestines or his bowel, and if so then any food or water that he drinks would be falling into his cavity instead of his stomach and that we might have to consider putting him to sleep so he doesn’t hurt anymore. She even did two X-ray examinations on him to determine if it was his intestines or flesh and it was so bad she couldn’t tell. They gave him medicine and shots and patched up his lacerations the best they could and she told me to give him 7 different medications and antibiotics at home and to watch him closely when he eats or drinks and to make sure he’s defecating and urinating and if not to come straight back to the vet. Saturday was a nightmare but finally he started to eat and drink again and in the middle of the night he urinated and so we were extremely happy about that as that’s a super good sign! His tail even wagged today so he is one tough cookie! He still can’t stand up and he’s in a lot of pain so I’m sleeping next to him on the floor everynight to watch him carefully and petting him until he falls asleep, he’s doing a lot better then he did yesterday but I’m still really worried about him so please keep him in your prayers and thank you all so much for sending positive energy and praying for him!! I can’t thank y’all enough!! 🫂
