Ifon-Orolu people this morning for Governor Adeleke. APC is our enemy in Osun and they shall be defeated heavily on August 15th. Adeleke's 8 years isn't negotiable!
It’s been a while (maybe never) since Osun has felt an atmosphere like this.
Despite the heavy rain, the energy didn’t drop. Youths showed up in their numbers, united beyond politics, driven by pure vibe and connection.
The moment B-Red brought Peller on stage… the crowd? Massive. Electric. Unforgettable!!!

Governor Adeleke Preaches Unity, Assures Religious Freedom as Christians Celebrate Easter
OSOGBO – 05/04/2026 – https://t.co/fRzeiXKpdK
Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, has congratulated Christians in Osun State and across the country on the celebration of Easter, urging them to reflect deeply on the enduring message of love, sacrifice, and hope that defines the season.
In a statement issued by his Spokesperson, the Governor described Easter as a profound reminder of the triumph of life over death and light over darkness, noting that the essence of the celebration lies in selflessness, and faith in a better future.
Governor Adeleke acknowledged the spiritual significance of the season, emphasizing that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ calls for renewed commitment to peaceful coexistence, and service to humanity.
He reassured the Christian community in Osun State of his administration’s continuous commitment to fairness, inclusiveness, and protection of religious freedom, stressing that his government remains dedicated to building a society where all citizens, regardless of faith, can thrive without fear or discrimination.
The Governor further urged Christians to imbibe the virtues of humility, forgiveness, and love exemplified during the Easter period, adding that these values are essential for strengthening unity and advancing the collective progress of the state.
While addressing residents, Governor Adeleke reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to sustain people-oriented governance, and improve critical sectors that impact the daily lives of citizens.
He, however, cautioned against elements who seek to exploit religious sentiments for political gain, noting that such actors, whose legacy is marked by division, and anti-people policies, have no moral standing to preach unity or question a government that is delivering tangible progress for the people of Osun State.
He called on the faithful to use the Easter celebration as an opportunity to pray for Osun State, Nigeria, and leaders at all levels, while also encouraging acts of kindness, especially towards the vulnerable and less privileged in society.
“As we commemorate this sacred season, I urge all citizens to embrace its message of hope and renewal. Our administration remains committed to delivering good governance and ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach every corner of Osun State,” the Governor stated.

Blackout: Governor Adeleke Summons IBEDC, Reassures Rainstorm Victims of Emergency Support
OSOGBO- 02/04/2026 - https://t.co/fRzeiXKpdK
Governor Ademola Adeleke has summoned the management of Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBRDC) over persistent blackout at Osogbo and other major towns in the state, describing the situation as “unbearable for residents”
In a statement issued today Thursday, the governor lamented that field reports confirmed the worsening power supply and the negative effects on businesses and residents, affirming that the IBEDC needs to explain the challenges with a view to finding a lasting solution.
“I have received widespread complaints from all our major towns. Businesses are grinding to a halt. We cannot continue like this. I am inviting the management of the IBEDC for brainstorming to find a way out.
“As much as we know that the power sector is capital intensive and despite the fact that the matter is a national challenge, Osun is suffering a lot. We must work together with IBEDC for a short term solution.
“As a government, the medium and long term solution is to diversify sources of energy supply. Renewable energy is a sustainable alternative but it must be affordable. Our government is working hard to support the renewable energy sector.
“Our state now has the Osun Electricity law. Before long, we are setting up the Osun Electricity Regulatory Commission to licence power generating companies and regulate the power market system. This will open up the state energy sector and also protect the best interest of IBEDC customers.
“While that is ongoing, we must interrogate the IBEDC for immediate solutions. The Commissioner for Energy is to organise the consultation as quickly as possible. We will also invite consumer advocacy groups for the meeting”, the governor noted.
On the support for rainstorm victims, the governor said the state emergency agency is already compiling names and details of victims, adding that the agency has been directed to ensure that all victims are captured in the data compilation.
Governor Adeleke said victims are also encouraged to submit their details at the emergency agency office, promising that the state government is working on local and national support for the victims.
He disclosed that contacts have been established with the Federal Emergency Management Agency as well as the National Economic Council (NEC) to rally support for the victims, commending the Osun West Sentor, Lere Oyewumi for raising the unfortunate incident on the floor of the Senate.

In the spirit of Easter celebration, I had the opportunity to celebrate with kids in some selected orphanage homes and school for special needs with presentation of edible food items. It was truly a fulfilling and emotional experience to spend time with the amazing children and caregivers through my foundation "Imole Osun Development and Rekindled Hope Foundation".
Beyond the distribution, what touched me the most were the smiles, the laughter, and the strength these children carry. It reminded me that even the smallest act of kindness can bring comfort and hope to someone’s life.
These moments strengthen my resolve to continue doing more, reaching further, and ensuring that no child feels forgotten or alone. Every child deserves love, care, and a chance to thrive.
