I'm gonna regret replying here, but it's Sunday and I'm bored.
Slafkovsky and Cooley are two completely different players.
Cooley is slicky smooth on ice.
Slaf is a tank.
One can control the game, and one powers through the game.
There's no way to compare the two.
Slafkovsky vs Cooley:
We as fans are very opinionated about who we think is better, has the higher ceiling, and who shouldโve gone 1OA. Weโve also seen their cards go around.
Here I visualize each individual and on-ice metric between the two, to date!
#GoHabsGo#Yotes
@Pricer31 Laine is gone 1 July, there's 8.5 million freed up. But really, put him with Nick and move Cole and Slaf to line two with the new center. But these are conversations for Sept.
Do you remember when you joined X? I do! #MyXAnniversary

Such is Life
Captain Anderson came to play tonight.
Canes got one extremely nice tip.
Habs couldn't play the possession game.
Habs couldn't get to the slot for shots.
Line one, meh.
Everything we talked about all season came to fruition tonight. #2 center. #2 winger. Kent and Jeff no moves to make the team better at the deadline.
When you're given a chance to win the Cup, you get the job done.
All facts.
Win two in Mtl, and no-one will remember these comments.....except me, because I've been preaching this all season. This Cup is up for grabs and our front office let the team down.
Just one two more and get back on track to one great series.

Canadiens In the Evening.
Habs @Canes
For the first time this post-season, the @Canes#LetsGoCanes will be facing an actual playoff team that matters and that's just fine by me. Nothing about the Canes scars me. Is that bad jub jubs, probably. But Puck that, we're in the Eastern Conference Finals Baby!
What Got the #GoHabsGo Here?
1. Pucking Dobes, amazing.
2. Matheson, Guhle, and Carrier are blocking everything that's shot at Dobes. Making his life easier than normal.
3. Three scoring\checking lines are producing at the exact right time. Lines 2-4 were good to go.
4. Alex Newhook, Newfie Power!
5. Lighting and Sabres Top Lines were Shizen. They weren't shut down, they were absolute Shizen......and the same could be said about the Canes' L1, but really, who knows, they haven't faced anyone like the Habs.
I would love to make a prediction, but seriously, I'm scared shittless that the Canes are due, let's see where the chapter ends. If Nick and Cole can add to the EVP, then the Canes are cooked.
And as I sit here yacking away, Bowie my beautiful Aussie Shepherd just tried to steal a cheeseburger off the stove. Sneaky bugger. I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it, I'm about to lose control and I think I like it.
Canadiens 5
Canes 4
OT Winner, Cole Caufield.
Yes this is a troll, but for the record, Habs @ Canes, this will be the first real test for the Canes.
Key Points that led to where we are.
1. Dobes, amazing.

The Good news is the Sabres only went 4 for 6 on the PP. What's the solution?
It was 3-1 and then they walked out the door in disgust.
When the bottom six stops scoring at 5 on 5, this team loses, our top line is a joke! They're specialists. Nothing more. Change that pucking narrative!
Play disciplined hockey, win.
Stop being media darlings and start being playoff warriors and you'll win.
Play like warriors.

OT: I loved seeing Larry Robinson come in with the torch, but maybe save those walks for the Cup finals.
Use the fire, the dramatic music, the howling-ghosts in the wind, but save that torch run for the Cup finals.
It's laughable when you lose 8-3 and really, we've seen too many examples where it does more for the fans th
an it does for the team.
@thesickpodcasts Won't be close, Habs will walk all over the Sabres tonight.........and if they don't, it defies all logic about playing in front of a Pumped Up Bell Centre. Seriously, these guys should be so ripped to hit that ice that they can't contain themselves.
Get it Done!

@MurphysLaw74 I'll be back, between noon and three (four your time) I'm pretty busy.....but the second I'm able to, I'll be back. It's a long story, I'll send you a DM this summer. Pretty crazy story. ๐

OT: How great is it to watch an Ex-Leaf succeed in the playoffs. That move Marner did to score last game was one of the most incredible individual skill we've ever seen, to make that move, at that speed, under pressure. No wonder most of us anklebiters threw-up when he scored that goal. Incredible, and I'm no fan of Marner.
OT2: Jets podcasters talking about Laine.....enjoy. Kent and Jeff blew it on that one.
