@cyclegaz Brakes are only as good as the grip between your tyres and the road surface. Once the brakes have stopped your wheels turning it’s all down to your tyres.
@theJeremyVine@chunkymark I was a cycle courier in the early 90s. This was the cyclist’s fault. It it hadn’t been a pedestrian it could easily have been a car door. Cyclist travelling much too fast down the inside of a traffic queue. Probably lack of experience on the part of the cyclist.
