@MartienBall He IS the same player, just better forwards around him which allows him to be more patient. Look at the amount of chances he created every season, he’d have way more assists if half of those were scored.

Before we relied on transitions and only Bruno could unlock teams with his passing. Watch him for Portugal, he doesn’t hoof the ball. Amorim gave the team a more controlled approach but he didn’t improve Bruno as a player.

That 2nd half is the exact reason I'm frustrated with this group of players + coaches. There were small tactical tweaks but the performance just had more intensity and power in there and that was how we managed to overrun them. The fact we can't do that consistently is annoying.

@Carra23 When Foden played on the wing it was mostly on the right so he could cut in. Bellingham plays 10 for Madrid cause most of the games they play without a ST plus Madrid has midfielders that can control the game behind him, this doesnt work for England cause Kane likes to drop deep
