@fundrisefan@WeCanShootToo@BenMillerise@Jay644172819317@CrusoeAI Ok man, just stop. Change your account to cheerleader from fan, okay. I understand that you're super cool, even when losing a fortune. Great. My account looks just like that too - I haven't sold either. I'm still a Fundrise customer to boot! Go team!
@fundrisefan@WeCanShootToo@BenMillerise@Jay644172819317@CrusoeAI And I'm not blaming anyone. I could have sold for a fairly big profit in August. We all should have, in retrospect! I'm just saying not everybody is seeing lollipops and roses around VCX. But hey, hopefully we are at the bottom
@fundrisefan@WeCanShootToo@BenMillerise@Jay644172819317@CrusoeAI You and Ben seem to be implying everyone should be happy with their profits, or “winnings” as someone here referred to them. Some people may still be showing a profit, but even early investors like myself are rapidly approaching break even. Never got the message to sell on Aug 14
@BenMillerise@fundrisefan@Jay644172819317@CrusoeAI Owning this from the beginning, but not sharing in the profit of the IPO, I can say that it has been a brutal experience. To the point of losing trust. Having not cashed in, I wish it was still private - there’s nothing particularly special about it anymore.
@SarahAllisonFl To everyone asking why the painting isn't behind glass.. because it would cost millions for every museum? Also, they shouldn't have to. Also, it's a different experience to see a painting behind glass versus not.
@flowing_cash That's a good question. I have no idea, but possibly they take what would hopefully be a gain from the IPO and add it to their NAV - and of course then eventually reinvest it in something else.. or else maybe pay a special dividend? This is so new I'm not sure anyone knows
@policingpips@fundrise I'm in exactly the same place. Never expected the innovation fund to be the biggest deal. It was an add-on investment once they introduced it. Hopefully these recent gains hold up (for the most part) six months from now
@upsideonthedown@BlueJays Not so much a meatball as trusting your stuff and not wanting to walk a guy. Gawd I hate when dudes nibble their way into walks and big bad innings. Could have been a better pitch tho, as I’m sure he’d admit
@Rightanglenews There is a 0% chance Kentucky goes for Harris, so it seems a little stupid to deploy your genius (yet easily detected) voting machine hack there. But hey, go nuts Twitter!
