I hate people with absolutely no spatial awareness in supermarkets. Why is your trolley sideways, blocking the aisle? Why are you standing near the entrance looking around as if it's your first time on Earth? Move!
I don’t want my daughter to be like me. I want her to speak up sooner. Walk away faster. Trust herself deeper. Apologize less. Take up more space. Ask bigger questions. Dream louder. And if that means she becomes everything I wasnt… GOOD!
I used to over explain myself a lot, trying to make sure people understood my intentions. Then I realized, the right people don’t require that much explaining.
The older you get, the more you realize luck is mostly exposure. If you sit in the same place, have the same routine, talking to the same people, nothing new really happens. You have to tackle the world to succeed. Travel more. Talk to people.
Do not ignore me. You can tell me you don't want to talk. You can tell me you need space. Whatever the case may be.
Radio silence is a hard limit for me. It touches a very vulnerable place in me.
Sometimes I accidentally accept the bare minimum trying to be considerate of what others are going through & that is a habit I need to let go of expeditiously
