Had to delete a lot of code and honestly felt so good about it because it was old stuff that just didn't fit the game anymore. The stuff it's getting replaced with is so much better. I consider that a win!
This probably sounds obvious, but solo gamedev for me has been a lot of talking to myself. I have a whole document dedicated to my thoughts, questions, concerns...and I'm the one who has to answer them all!
Game development feels like making puzzle pieces without fully knowing how or where they are going to join together. But then when they DO join together...man, that's just amazing.
Issue 21 is live! See work by @shontewrites, Khari Dawson, Ruby Davis, Jade Ferrante, Maria Golosnaya, Tariq Karibian, Noel Munguia-Moreno, Mather Schneider, and Sehee Oh. Plus, a review of Canon by Paige Lewis and an interview with the author!

Well, today was supposed to be the day Murder at the Cat Show got released on Steam, but the process of putting anything on Steam is, in fact, hell. Ima let that dream go for now. Murder at the Cat Show (as well as all my other games) are still on itch! https://t.co/OdR9H4w49l

@QuilenStudio That's a tough question, but I think the theatrical performance between "you" and "him" felt the most surreal and odd for me to picture. I wasn't really sure where it was going for a while, but I think it came together in the end.
Also while I have your eyes, I released Br()ken back in April. It's a short twine game about depression, losing yourself, and finding yourself in the end https://t.co/VmKfA4VdVg
