@shaneysn Fully believe that opening night Lakers vs. Nuggets and Warriors vs. Nuggets on Christmas Day are the NBA’s way of getting more Americans connected with Jokic.

@shaneysn For 2000s kids, the GOAT convo is really strange. We did not see the careers of Jordan, Kareem, Magic, or Bill in real time, therefore we have no grasp on how they stack up all time.

It’s comes down to this:
You love Bron. He is your GOAT.
You don’t love Bron. MJ is your GOAT.

@shaneysn The NBA brand of basketball has over-evolved. Teams rely too much on iso ball, quick possessions, and 3s. The pace of play is too fast and at times it can feel like meaningless pickup.

When FIBA-style ball meshes with the NBA-style, we will experience a new NBA Renaissance.

Many discredit the 2018 Warriors because they swept a really weak Cavs team in the Finals.

People forget that the Warriors faced their biggest challenge in the WCF: Harden’s Rockets. The Dubs won in 7.

This was NOT a guaranteed ring for the superteam Warriors.

I don’t really care for why the refs are doing this, but I hate that they are waiting for the shot to miss to call fouls. Frustrating.
