The MLBPA and the community of players are saddened by the passing of Judy Pace Flood, the widow of the late Curt Flood. Beyond her extended list of achievements as an actress, Judy was committed to sharing Curt’s story and perpetuating his legacy as the driving force behind the advent of free agency in baseball. We remember her for her grace, her kindness, and her dedication to Curt’s memory and the principles that drove him. She uplifted and inspired so many, and we are eternally grateful for her example.
