When you have a difficult, disrespectful, and defiant student, my biggest tip for you... is to have lots of conversations with them when they are not in trouble.
These conversations are where you build rapport... and that rapport makes future confrontations less likely.
It is disappointing that we weren't able to celebrate with our Veterans today like we have in years past, but we still wanted to give a shout out to all the brave men and women who have fought for the freedoms we hold so dear. Here are some pictures from years past...
Attn students: please note that today 11/2 is a full virtual "blue" day. 11/3 will be full virtual "white" day and 11/4 will be virtual "gray" day with 12:45 student dismissal.
Reminder: SRHS will be complete online instruction through Nov. 4th. Bell schedule has not changed. We will follow the same class times as regularly planned.
Senior, Michael Yacullo, had taken the morning announcements to a new level. Both staff and students alike look forward to Thursdays when he "takes the mic" and keeps us informed. A crowd favorite! #michaelanthonyrocks#finito

PLEASE consider how you’re posting to Google Classroom.

And please show students how to adjust their Classroom notifications.
Walk them through it. They’ll appreciate your help.
