I might be stupid but does this not work? I mean, sure you got 2 long men in the pen, but with a 6 man you're gonna expect a lot of the guys to go at least 6 day in and out. Idk

@MLBaseball_Live Thoughts on Nootbaar being dealt? Kinda surprised he isn't a Jay by now. He's the perfect fit for their lineup and I know for a fat they've been interested in the past. Plus the Jays system fits the Cards needs idk, maybe it just needs a bit more time to develop
@cap_kirby@Damon98_ Idk, this is kind of a hit piece on Tucker imo. His "interest" in the Jays was probably mainly to do with the vicinity of their facility in Florida. He's just another idiot joining the least likeable major sports team in North America.
Not mad at Rogers or the FO at all, wtf can you actually do about that. Im sorry, 10/400-450 (the offer I assume the Jays were sitting at) is well above market value. I can't dog them for trying man 60 AAV is absurd for a non top 10 guy in the leauge. Go get Bo back
@Damon98_ People have short term memory loss I swear. The past 2 offseason's we saw both the Blue Jays and Yankees offers leaked for Ohtani and Soto respectively hours before they signed. Both ended up finishing second place in the bidding to the favorite's from the start of the offseason.
@JoshuaHowsam@AndrewStoeten No don't you see if the Yankees wont sign Bellinger it means that they are only interested in players not controlled by Boras, other big name and actual best fit Alex Bregman makes no sense. Its obvious posturing from the Yankees side lol, idk why everyone is freaking out.
The Olney article doesn't necessarily say they will target Tucker or Bo, rather that they've expressed intrest in the past before as the New York Yankees will do with every major FA. The way the Yankees have shown their cards however this offseason, neither Bo nor Tucker fit IMO
Im gonna be for real now tho. The timing of the Bellinger news simply means the Yankees are posturing to Boras they wont go over 30-32 a year for Belli. Or they realized the trade market for a bat is cheaper than for a starter and will now trade for a bat and sign a starter
Yankees get Brenton Doyle
Red Sox get Brendan Donovan
Cubs get Eugenio Suarez
Dodgers get Harrison Bader
Phillies get Alex Bregman
Mets get Cody Bellinger
Blue Jays get Kyle Tucker and Bo Bichette, whos not happy here, im happy.
@ByRobertMurray notes just now on Jays:
- โIโm not writing off Bo Bichette.โ (as a Jays target)
- Tucker is also tremendous fit (& hears they want a LHH)
- adding Tucker makes them the clear AL favorite
- Bichette has a very healthy market
Interested to see if its Cassie or Shaw going in return to Miami. Would assume whichever one goes signals who the Cubs are targeting in Fa between Belli and Bo. Would be really funny to see the Cubs steal Cabrera and Belli from the Yankees within a matter of a few days.
Kyle Tucker, Michael Brantley, and George Springer are in attendance at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, to watch tonightโs TGL matchup between the Atlanta Drive and Bay Golf Club.
@Damon98_@JGoldberg12 The postseason run was magical and I wouldn't trade it for anything. But looking at the lineup right now there still is so many question marks. I agree they need at least one of Tucker or Bo to really make this lineup deep. If Rogers wants to, both could still very much work too
