@JGrill_USNVet@SeanUnfiltered Idk how they get down where you’re from, but 6A HSFB QB’s in Texas absolutely need to be able to ID 6-8 basic coverages and how to attack them. You may not see 6 different coverages in one game, but you will over the course of a season for sure. Better be prepared!
@SeanUnfiltered In 2009 I started as a true freshman quarterback for a D3. I couldn’t believe how far behind the QB’s were in my recruiting class, even some of the upperclassmen. There were guys so poorly coached that they didn’t know what pre-snap indicators to look for. Much less post snap.
@kurt13warner I have always wondered if the guys who say this sort of stuff really believe their BS. As a former D3 QB who started as a true freshman and grinded for every minute of play-time, I have nothing but respect for *any* NFL level QB.
