My wife Akara stand?๐คฃ๐คฃ
Hi @vian337,
My wife doesn't have Akara stand, if she had, I would have joyfully advertised it here.....
She's a graduate of Computer Engineering from the University of Ife. She has her own career path she's following and that doesn't make her superior to those selling Akara as their own business....
My mother sold Basket of Pepper, Tomatoes, Bags of Onion, etc in Isikan and Oja Oba market in Akure. My Father a farmer. We went to join him inside thick Cocoa farm, Yam, Cassava, Maize farm, depending on time and season.
I would go to market to join my mother after School in the market DAILY. We made money, they built HOUSES...LEGITIMATE MONEY.
However, we had neighbors who were into Akara Elepo business, built their houses in Akure from the same Akara that some of you despise online...I lived around people selling what you guys despise daily online and when we met YOU PEOPLE whose parents had Refineries on campus, we paid our own fees without asking for help from your oil and gas business....
That was what they used to send us to School, That was what gave me my Certificate in Physics Electronics. That was what qualifies me for all the jobs I have done....
Please, what did your parents tell you is wrong with Akara business? I'll like to know.....
when fools get on any discuss , they abandon the real issues and fuel the distribution. we are talking about the campaign dabido did and the reason for it, but we are concerned about the victims but illiteracy ๐ข
Not understanding English does not make someone illiterate. English is simply a language. Those from Northern Nigeria who mock Rarara as illiterate because of his English should know that he has memorized the entire Holy Qur'an. On that basis, calling him illiterate is inaccurate.
If you have memorized the entire Holy Qur'an, then you are more knowledgeable than many people around you who have not memorized it.
You are mistaken as a Muslim if you call someone who has memorized the entire Holy Qur'an illiterate just to impress non-Muslims or seek their approval.
Only Muslims can relate to this post.
A live debate between Tinubu, Atiku and Peter Obi is exactly what Nigeria needs. It would finally expose Obiโs lack of depth to the 'Obidients.'
But we need a world-class, objective journalist to moderate it, definitely not someone like Rufai Oseni.
If islam truly preach peaceful coexistence with unbelievers, the average muslim would be peaceful and friendly. But islam does not teach peaceful coexistence. That's why we have terrorism. That's why people would continue to criticise and scrutinise islam.
"We stand with Gaza, and we say to you, America: We will drink your blood. We will finish you off. We will starve you. Allah Akbar! Death to America! Death to Israel! Victory to Islam!"
Bibi warned that for radical Islam, itโs Israel first and America next.
He was right.
This is the bold vision of Peter Obi as expressed by himself on a podcast interview. Have you taken your time to listen to his interview on a platform of his own unofficial spokesman? Even with the leading questions the guy no fit perform. โIf e didnโt Dey e didnโt Dey โ
I was at the protest today.
Let me not talk too much, but things almost escalated badly between protesters and the military, and it was only by a thin line that it didnโt get out of hand.
At some point, I moved closer thinking there would be proper coordination so people could pass, but after about an hour, rumours started spreading that VDM had left the protest ground. There was serious tension, with protesters insisting he must come out, otherwise nobody was moving, and roads were already blocked.
Then shortly after, VDM went live on IG from his house saying the protest had ended. I was honestly shocked.
Earlier today, I already posted that I was not impressed with how he left the protest ground, and I still stand by that.
Anyone who was there and close to his line would also notice that whenever chants of โTinubu must goโ came up, there were signals to tone it down or change it.
What I saw today felt like a betrayal and a deep disappointment to many protesters. You needed to see the sadness on peopleโs faces when they saw a live video of someone they were standing there risking everything for, suddenly in his house telling them they can now go home.
People were already at the point of serious confrontation with the military, thinking he had been arrested, not knowing he had already gone home. At the end of the day, if youโre going to lead people into something like that, communication matters a lot.
Beyond that, there are already many interpretations and conversations online about what happened and whether there were deeper political layers to everything. Iโm not here to push any conclusion, but I think time will tell and more clarity will come out.
For me, what is clear is this, leadership in moments like this carries responsibility. When communication breaks down, confusion spreads quickly, and situations can become dangerous very fast.
What happened today did not sit right with many of us.

Kenneth Okwuonkwo also said that @PeterObi is a political scammer. That he tells people I donโt give shishi but goes to diaspora and collects shishi.
Recall that when Peter Obi said he accounted for monies he received for his campaign, he was reported to have only mentioned the Nigeria Naira, that till date he has not account for forex he collect all over the world in the name of the campaign.
Itโs like pilling garbage layer by layer
Christianity isn't blamed when when some persons commit atrocities claiming to be Christians; So why is the insecurity crisis (in Nigeria) being pinned on Islam?
