Tennessee Baseball coach Tony Vitello looks a bit different under his eyes tonight @ Alabama. Could be he uses makeup under his eyes to reduce bags and forgot today??
@Vol_Baseball@BarstoolTenn
Any thoughts?
Jordyn Cambridge has such a great feel for soft spots in defenses. Watching her from a TV view, its crazy how many layups she would get if it were purely up to her positioning.
End of Quarter 1 for @VandyWBB
Vandy: 6
Auburn: 9
Post timeout midway through the quarter, Auburn did not score again after getting out to a 9-0 lead. Time to build more momentum going into Q2
@NotVandyOC Sure and I’ll agree on that but I think we’re trending in the right direction and have shown far more signs of life than any other major sport (sans baseball ofc) I just think that to further influence higher ups that we prioritize winning, we should reward those who are on track
With this being said, fans need to actually show more support to winning programs to reinforce this idea. More people at our WBB or soccer (in the past couple years) could show that we’re willing to support all winning teams.
@NotVandyOC I thought ab this more and realized the take is even more disingenuous that I previous assumed
Last 4 yrs
2020: Coach Fired
2021: 1st Year Coach
2022: Unprecedented Injuries
2023 (present): big transfer portal additions, fun new style, dominant home opener
What it should be
@NotVandyOC Yeah but it’s the right timeline for WBB w Shea Ralph. Also a dominant start (like WBB) had in their opener is the signs of life we want from the program.
After last night, I think the best way to continue to show support for a winning Vanderbilt sport is to go to all the women’s basketball games. They rightfully dominated vs Kennesaw State and deserve a better fan presence for meeting the expectations we set for MBB.
