Who you are and who you become always trump what you have and have done.
So many people are really focused on increasing their income, getting those next shiny things, owning things, being more popular, and other things you “get”. But that’s not the goal, is it? Happiness is.
We should appreciate others for even the smallest things they do, because that might have meant a whole world to them. We don’t know what others are facing or are going through so we shouldn’t expect anything, but we should appreciate them for the things they do.
Let’s start, as always, with your first negotiation: with yourself. What you tolerate of and for yourself is what you’ll get. You won’t reach your full potential by staying comfortable. You won’t achieve your dreams or fulfill your vision by hanging back in your comfortable space
Our personal strengths are part of what makes us unique as individuals, and part of the value we offer to the world around us. If we’re not aware of our personal strengths, however, we don’t always utilize them as fully as we could.
All of us have worries and concerns in life. Things we are scared of. Things we are dreading. Worries about what “might” happen or what “might not” happen. It seems that there is a truly endless supply of things to spend our time being worried about.
What does it REALLY mean to try? As I pondered the meaning of the word, I came to a startling revelation: to try is to do without knowing the outcome. We can’t try without doing, but we can do without trying.
Leaders often fail at letting others fail. But, only perfect people don’t need second chances.
There’s no point in getting up if
trying again isn’t an option.
Making failure an option doesn’t
mean failure doesn’t matter.
Successful second chances don’t accept mediocrity.
This is reminding us that we can’t help everyone, as not everyone wants help. There are also those who are beyond help. What can we do for them? Not a lot. That doesn’t even include the difficulties of how many helpers there are, and the numbers of people in need of help.
We all have things we can give, which are meaningful, thoughtful, and from the heart. And that is why these things help us to feel happy. Most of us feel good when we help others. We feel even better when the help we give is meaningful to us.
We all wish to be happy.
Second chance may not be a surety every time that you can go back, rectify your mistakes and get whatever you wanted, but it certainly brings an assurance that you can put in your best efforts, which were lacking the first time you tried and failed.
When you know yourself, you will be aware of your own identity, your own values, your own aspirations. So you will be able to find your weaknesses and limitations. You can also let your strengths and abilities surface.
Don’t believe everything you hear, unless, that is, you want to make what you hear a reality in your life.
What you focus on expands and becomes your reality. In many circles, this principle is called the Law of Attraction, deliberate creation or conscious creation.
Confidence is a feeling you have that you are able to perform a task and overcome the challenges involved. The feeling of confidence concerning a competition means the you are sure you can win.
Sometimes What You’re Most Afraid of Doing is the Very Thing That Will Set You Free
Fear is a funny thing, it never sets us completely free and left to itself, it can find various ways to keep haunting us and questioning our confidence.
Need I say more? If you ain’t got the guts- adopt them. Because without guts, you won’t be a risk taker. You won’t go after what you want to achieve. You won’t have the glory you know you can have. You won’t be a legend and you won’t have your story.
Success will never be given to you.
If you dream of being successful, there is only one way to attain it, and that is to put in the work. You’re never going to make the money you want or achieve your desired goals, if you are not willing to put in the effort.
It can be difficult to encounter people from your past. Whether it’s an old friend, an old flame or an old enemy, when it happens, it can certainly catch you off guard. The trick, though, is to embrace it, understand it and take all that you’ve learned into account.
Going from one scene to the next is a transition, involving loss and newness. Without question, change and transition are always difficult, if that change is real. It’s easy to become over-attached to a certain role you’ve played, perceiving that role as your identity.

Most people are on a behavioral roller-coaster depending entirely on their external circumstances — they cannot handle failure, so when things aren’t going well, they get overwhelmed and are depressed, and when things are going well, they are confident.
