In a @nytimes article, a "Wicked" fan who intends to sing her heart out along with the movie says of those who would frown on that: "People who just are judgmental in that way, please wait to stream it." Nonsense. It should be the other way around.
I hope Wicked will revive the movie musical because it used to be an institution. It’s time for musicals to be back in the mainstream. People love them.
It amuses me that the #SkyCinema Christmas ad involves a brief clip of #Annie1982, given that adaptation dropped the Christmas setting of the original musical (and the closer adaptations of 1999 and 2021)...
