I have accepted the head football coaching job at Bellflower high school. Excited to be a leader of service while demanding excellence from the top-down.

President Trump declines to commit to permanently scrapping the DOJ's $1.8 billion "anti-weaponization" fund. "I'd have to ask the lawyers," he says. "I don't know."
He's issuing a warning cause it's viewed from a context of control. I view this as the billions in TV contracts and revenue being generated finally finding their way to the athletes that are responsible for generating it. This is America, baby!
An overseer will always disguise limitation as protection. Laughable!
BTW when the hell has Congress and spineless Marco Rubio fixed anything lately??? FOH
In sworn testimony submitted to the U.S. Senate, Nick Saban strongly supports the Cruz-Cantwell bill and urges Congress to act, per documents obtained by @YahooSports.
The submission - from an ESPN employee & ex-SEC coach - comes a day after the SEC’s statement against the bill.
NEW: Nick Saban issues a warning to college sports about the current NIL landscape during his testimony for "The Protect College Sports Act":
“It’s become an arms race, who spends the most has got the best chance to win. But I think it’s a race to the bottom because if you don’t spend to win, you lose your fan base and you don’t have any revenue.”

Without Congressional action, Notre Dame AD Pete Bevacqua says a "super league" is inevitable.
"You’re going to only have a small number of universities who can invest to field a nationally competitive football team."
This bill changes the framework of the Rev/Share part of the House settlement.
It makes it so the Rev Share deals would need to pass through clearinghouse.
This is not supporting Olympics/Women’s sports…it’s the opposite.
Government taking over college sports.
Insanity.
The Congressional Black Caucus today called on Senate Commerce Committee leaders Ted Cruz and Maria Cantwell to pause the Protect College Sports Act of 2026 until college athletics leaders meaningfully engage concerns about attacks on Black political representation.

Yes, I do. This app was so much better when I first started. Now it’s a tool used to manipulate and radicalize things, people.
New statement from Scott Pelley:
“Last month, 60 Minutes lost its DNA when our entire senior leadership and two of our best on-air correspondents were cruelly fired without cause. Good people were silenced because they stood up for our audience. They stood for fairness against the forces of political bias; they stood for professionalism against chaos.
For my part, new management has instructed me to inject falsehoods and bias into a politically sensitive story. I’ve been told to include assertions that are unverified. To date, in every case, I have managed to ignore these instructions or refuse them. Recently, politicians have been invited to choose correspondents for interviews on the broadcast. Giving politicians control over 60 Minutes interviews is not how this is done. Finally, incompetence and unprofessionalism in the new management have wreaked havoc. In a case involving one of my stories, the entire program came within 19 minutes of not getting on the air at all.
At 60 Minutes, we have fought harder than anyone knows to save the program that became an American icon. We owed that to our millions of viewers. I am deeply moved by the thousands of wishes we have received to “keep up the good fight.” Most of the men and women of CBS News are still in that fight. But now the collapse of values at the top has become untenable. The leadership of 60 Minutes is no longer recognizable. The principles I hold dear are gone, and so I must leave as well.”
Schools delaying coaching hires until after players transfer with ties to that new coach don’t understand it won’t work. You can’t follow your coach whether before and after.
