We strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack in #Anantnag that claimed the life of Head Constable Ashiq Hussain, who laid down his life while performing his duty to safeguard the people and ensure the security of the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra. His supreme sacrifice will forever be remembered with honour and gratitude.

Terrorism is an enemy of humanity. It has no religion, no morality, and no justification. Such barbaric acts are a desperate attempt to spread fear and disrupt the peace, harmony, and progress that the people of #Jammu & Kashmir have collectively worked hard to restore.

The people of Jammu & #Kashmir have repeatedly rejected the ideology of violence. Those who seek to destabilize our society through acts of terror will never succeed against the courage of our security forces and the resilience of our people.
