Lions had a great season but the injury bug was going to kill them. Literally all of their stars got hurt.

Aidan Hutchinson was about to decimate records this season and once he went down, any sign of a consistent pass rush was absolutely fried. Losing McNeil was just the icing on the cake.

To make matters worse, Goff stunk it up in a game where he couldn’t even afford a single turnover.

Your defense (especially against a good offense), is only as good as your DL/Front 7.

They’ll be back. Not a case of needing to fill holes. It’s a case of needing players healthy, especially a DPOY type of player.
