A piece of Albania’s ancient musical heritage will be heard in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.
Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Göransson traveled to southern Albania to record authentic iso-polyphony and the sounds of Albanian shepherds’ fyell for the film’s score.

Composer Göransson "traveled to southern Albania to capture an ancient style of singing called iso-polyphony, which he’d never heard in a film before," @vulture reports.
