#WATCH दिल्ली: CJP द्वारा कल, 20 जुलाई को संसद तक प्रस्तावित मार्च की खबरों पर नई दिल्ली के DCP सचिन शर्मा ने कहा, "CJP द्वारा 20 जुलाई को संसद तक प्रस्तावित मार्च की खबरों को देखते हुए यह साफ तौर पर स्पष्ट किया जाता है कि दिल्ली पुलिस को ऐसी अनुमति के लिए कोई आवेदन नहीं मिला है और न ही ऐसी कोई अनुमति दी गई है। पूरे नई दिल्ली ज़िले में धारा 163 BNSS के तहत निषेधाज्ञा लागू है, इसलिए 5 या उससे ज़्यादा लोगों के इकट्ठा होने, विरोध मार्च या प्रदर्शन की अनुमति नहीं है, सिवाय जंतर-मंतर जैसी तय विरोध-प्रदर्शन की जगह के और वहां भी अनुमति मिलने के बाद ही ऐसा किया जा सकता है। कल से संसद का सत्र भी शुरू हो रहा है इसलिए आम जनता की सुरक्षा और महत्वपूर्ण सरकारी प्रतिष्ठानों की सुरक्षा के लिए कड़े सुरक्षा इंतज़ाम किए जाएंगे। धारा 163 BNSS के लागू आदेशों का उल्लंघन करने वाले किसी भी व्यक्ति के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। दिल्ली पुलिस सभी नागरिकों से अपील करती है कि वे कानून का सम्मान करें, किसी भी गैर-कानूनी जमावड़े या मार्च में शामिल होने से बचें, सार्वजनिक शांति और सुरक्षा बनाए रखने में सहयोग करें।"

PUBLIC ADVISORY

In view of reports of a proposed march to Parliament by CJP on 20.07.2026 (Monday), Delhi Police hereby categorically clarifies that no permission has been sought or granted for any such protest march/procession.

Prohibitory order under Section 163 BNSS (erstwhile section 144 CrPC) is in force in the New Delhi District. *Accordingly, protest marches, processions, demonstrations and assemblies of five or more persons are strictly prohibited*, except at the designated protest site at Jantar Mantar, with prior permission.

As Parliament session is commencing from 20 July, strict security arrangements are in place to ensure public safety, security of protectees, and the protection of vital government installations.

Any person violating these prohibitory orders shall be liable for prosecution under Section 223 BNS and other applicable provisions of law.

Delhi Police appeals to all citizens to respect the law, refrain from participating in any unauthorised gathering or march, and cooperate in maintaining public peace, safety and security.
