This morning I joined a group of young women in Jayanagar over coffee and conversation.

I spoke to them about the Women’s Reservation Act, what we are working on, and why I believe it is one of the most important legislations of our time.

These women heartly welcomed the prospect and spoke about how issues that directly affect them, health, wellness, safety, workplace policies are consistently missed in governance just because the people making decisions don’t live these realities.

Their message was simple, we need women in those rooms as decision-makers.

This is exactly why the Women’s Reservation Act matters.

PM Shri @narendramodi ji's government is set to implement this historic Act in its true spirt, giving women of India a voice so that the policies that affect them are shaped by them.

The women of India are ready. Parliament must match their ambition.

🚫 Drive Against Unauthorized Banners & Flexes

The Bengaluru Central City Corporation conducted a special enforcement drive in Indiranagar to remove unauthorized banners, flexes, and hoardings placed without permission.

During the drive, officials cleared several illegal displays to maintain the city’s aesthetics and ensure compliance with civic regulations.

Citizens are requested not to install banners or flexes without prior permission and to support the efforts to keep Bengaluru clean and orderly.

There was a video circulating on social media showing a person allegedly consuming “zombie drugs” near Bagaluru Road, Nitte College, which was posted on X .
Upon enquiry, Bagaluru Police traced and identified the individual seen in the video. The officers found that the person was under the influence of alcohol and had taken medication for arthritis. When subjected to a medical examination, no narcotic or psychotropic substances were detected in his system.
The information being circulated on social media is completely false.
We are currently investigating the source of this misinformation, and stringent legal action will be taken against those responsible for spreading false information.
