Washington is interesting in the Silver Trophy. Best fresh and has won on seasonal debut at Chepstow last two years. Good mark if he fancies it. Worth chancing each way. 22/1
@LetsTaIkRacing Rattlin Home could be an interesting ‘under the radar’ one. Beaten into second in sole bumper but looked a good race and he won his point beating none other than the Champion Bumper winner, The Mourne Rambler
Brutal ending, as it always seems to be against them, but very encouraging signs for the season. We still lack an assured holding midfielder and a tricky, creative winger. However, the heart and desire was back again. Up the mags #NUFC
I hate it when people single out players for criticism but I can’t hold it in any longer. I hate Jacob Ramsey. So clear he doesn’t want to be here. Unlike Gordon, Bruno and Tonali, he’s done nothing in a black and white shirt to earn him a move away, unfortunately #NUFC
@FI_360 I’ve never heard of any of our signings or seen them play and neither will the majority of supporters. We’re going into the season completely blind. Hopefully it’ll be a fun ride but to be sure it won’t/can’t go the other way is surely naive
@FI_360 Nobody can be sure how well, or poorly, we’ll do after so much change. It could literally go either way which is the definition of a gamble. I hope you’re right but even if you are, it’s not predictable. Short term revenue growth would be blown apart by relegation
@FI_360 A lot of this I agree with. However, selling all of our best and most experienced players in one window and replacing them with unproven kids is a reckless gamble that could backfire spectacularly. Not sure how we grow our revenue in a relegation battle
@BSRobsonNE@ToonPolls I don’t think he’s a rat but I think booing him will wind him up and that will work to our advantage. We support Newcastle, not Bruno
The only loyalty in football is from supporters to their clubs and even that is in question with many ‘supporters’ on social media. Bruno was great for us but he’s gone now and we move on. Great player? Yes. Club legend? Maybe, in time #NUFC
Arsenal’s plan to get Newcastle fans to turn on Bruno is working, sadly. Downside is this is not what Bruno would want and they’ve (Arsenal) put him in a difficult position with their underhand, sly approach. Bruno deserves our full support whilst he remains a #NUFC player
Such drastic change in one window makes me very nervous. All of our best players have left with the exception of Hall who is strongly linked with a move away. Expensive & unproven kids signed as replacements. How can anybody justify this as a positive strategy? Mad gamble #NUFC
@NUFC We will never have another manager giving as much time, effort and love to the job as Eddie Howe. Wish him and his staff all the best. Cheers for the incredible memories Eddie
I’m gutted. He’s looked burnt out for a while and some of the stick he’s received on here has been beyond disgusting. Delivered silverware and conducted himself with class throughout. Best since Keegan. We’re going to nosedive from here #NUFC
We are devastated to learn of the passing of Kevin Keegan, one of the most iconic, influential and deeply loved figures in our club’s history.
Kevin was more than a legendary footballer and manager. He was the beating heart of Newcastle United for generations of supporters.
Never accept the 1st offer but price is nearly there. Unlike the Isak sale, Gordon leaving is something we’ve seen coming and a player who can be replaced with the right scouting. I wish him well but can’t seem him succeeding at an elite club with his technical deficiencies #NUFC
We’re the least fit team in the league. A couple of years ago we were the fittest. Gutless, tactically inflexible. Just not good enough in every aspect. Huge summer ahead #NUFC

This is the first time I have concluded that it might be time to part ways with Eddie. I will always love him for what he has done for us, and will never abuse him unlike some, but the lack of reaction speaks volumes #NUFC
