I would like to understand from @GujaratPolice @AhmedabadPolice whether roadside “cyber audits” without any written notice, FIR, or proper identification are standard procedure. Is it permissible for a person without uniform or official ID to inspect digital devices?

@SBICard_Connect If that number doesn’t belong to SBI, then it’s even more worrying. How did they know my name, my personal number, and the fact that I just got an SBI credit card? This information should be secure with SBI, where is the data security?

@TheOfficialSBI I recently received my SBI credit card just a few days ago & have not even activated or used it yet. Today, I got a call from an unknown number claiming that my “health insurance has been activated” and offering to help “deactivate” it.

If customer data is being accessed by outsiders, this is a matter of grave concern about data privacy & security at SBI. I request SBI & the concerned authorities to urgently investigate and take strict action.
