Received a suspicious call today from 8130729222 regarding an old Aditya Birla Sun Life insurance policy.

The caller claimed that I had paid around ₹36,000 in 2017, made no further payments, and that the amount had now grown to around ₹1.4 lakh. 1/4

mentioned that a notice had supposedly been sent to me which I hadn’t responded to. She repeatedly brought up the payment and the accumulated amount.

The conversation sounded suspicious, so I ended the call without sharing any information or making any payment. 3/4

She spoke in Hindi and, when I asked where the policy was taken, initially couldn’t say. After checking, she said it was from Dakshina Kannada.

She then said they were contacting me to ask whether the policy could be cancelled before cancelling it, and 2/4
