@TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators @YouTube 2013: We created a YouTube channel which soon became inactive.
2019: A policy violation was issued on that channel, but it went unnoticed because the linked email was also inactive.
2024: We created a new channel with our current email completely forgetting about the old channel.(11years after)
2026: Due to Ai, the new channel was terminated for “circumvention” due to a linked phone number connected to the old account. We tried appealing the original channel, but YouTube only allows appeals within the first year after a violation.
Now we are stuck:
1.) We cannot create new channels due to the circumvention restriction.
2.) We cannot appeal the original channel because the appeal window has expired.
3.) The pilot program after 1 year of appeal not available to us to start a new channel.

This was never an intentional attempt to bypass YouTube policies. The old account had simply been forgotten after years of inactivity.

Dear YouTube Team,
I respectfully appeal the termination of my channel, Hey Junior Kids (https://t.co/fwjTLrYphq). I understand and respect YouTube’s Circumvention Policy.

An older channel linked to a dormant email under Shruti Marathe, created in 2013, had been inactive for many years. I was unaware it received a violation in 2019, as the account was unattended and I did not know there was an issue. By the time I discovered this and attempted to appeal, I was unable to do so due to the age of the violation. I am also currently unable to sign up for the pilot program and am willing to permanently let go of that old channel.

My current channel, Hey Junior Kids, has no violations and focuses on safe, educational content for children. We also recently unlocked the Player for Education feature.

I kindly request a manual human review and reconsideration of the restrictions on my account.

@TeamYouTube Hi, yes, we understand that. The 2019 violation was completely unintentional, and we were unaware of it as the old channel was inactive and linked to a dormant email, so we couldn’t appeal in time. Our new 2024 channel is now affected due to circumvention. How can we proceed?
