If Pokemon isn’t going to have voice acting for whatever reason, then whatever. But if you’re not going to put in the effort of adding some sort of subtitle, then why bother including this scene at all?

I think the thing that bothers me about this scene isn’t just the fact there’s no voice acting, though that’s a huge problem. It’s also the fact they didn’t even bother adding subtitles to indicate what Piers is singing, making this already very awkward concert doubly awkward +

A good example of what I mean is with Deltarune. While the game has tidbits of voice acting scattered across chapters, there are two songs that have lyrics but aren’t sung out loud; those being Raise Up Your Bat & Flower Man. +
