📈FOUR (4) MISTAKES TO AVOID WHILE A TRADE IS STILL ACTIVE.
If you're in an active trade, here are four ( 4) actions you must avoid to remain DISCIPLINED and PROFITABLE 📈
✅️.DON'T MOVE YOUR STOP-LOSS OUT OF FEAR:
A stop-loss exists to protect your capital. It is placed based on structure, logic, and risk-not emotions. When price moves close to your stop and fear kicks in, moving it further away doesn't improve the trade; it only increases the amount you're willing to lose. Widening your stop because "price will come back" is basically how small losses becomes account killers.
✅️. DON'T CLOSE EARLY OUT OF IMPATIENCE :
Impatience often shows up when price moves slowly, pulls back slightly or pauses before reaching your target. In that moment, traders start second guessing their analysis and close the trade just to "secure something" while this may feel safe, it slowly destroys profitability.
If your setup hasn't been invalidated, let the trade breathe please, cutting winners short is silent damage.
✅️.DON'T STARE AT THE CHART EVERY SECONDS :
over monitoring leads to emotional decision. You planned the trade for a reason - TRUST IT.
✅️. DON'T CHECK SOCIAL MEDIA OR OTHER TRADERS FOR VALIDATIONS :
Don't ignore this, once you're in a trade ,seeking opinions from Twitter, Telegram or others introduces external noise. You start comparing their bias with yours, even though they have different entries ,risk levels and time frames. Another traders bias can confuse you and sabotage a good trade.
The market doesn't reward emotions. It rewards discipline, patience and execution.
