🇮🇳INDIA ISSUES NEW CRYPTO REPORTING RULES.
CBDT has released new crypto reporting guidelines for exchanges.👇
Aligning with the OECD's global crypto-assets reporting framework (CARF)
-> Crypto exchanges will annually report eligible user transactions.
-> Crypto transaction data will be reported under the OECD's CARF framework.
-> Exchanges must collect users' tax residency and identification details.
-> First reports cover 2026 transactions and will be filed in 2027.
-> This is a reporting compliance update, not a new crypto tax.
