@TomParsons1984@zarahussain999 The rest are giggling away likes it funny. It’s not. It’s cringey. Also if you can’t pay for a meal that he ate, I wouldn’t be so sure he works/pays taxes

A Muslim man ran into a knife attack to save a pregnant stranger in Birmingham.
Idris Harris.
60. Grandfather. Owner of Al-Qamar in Balsall Heath.
July 14. A pregnant woman walking home from the supermarket was hit in the elbow with a big stick outside his restaurant.
He was cooking a birthday party. He heard the commotion. He ran out.
He grabbed the stick and pushed the man against a wall.
The man pulled a knife on him.
"It was instincts to protect my guests and the general public, a lady on her own."
BirminghamLive covered it. They called him a hero. He deserved every word.
But not one line told you he was a Muslim man.
They keep telling us we don't integrate.
They keep telling us we're barbarians.
Do barbarians step in front of a knife for a pregnant stranger?
Ans Javid woke two sleeping households out of a burning house in Bradford.
Mohsin Qayyum and Mohammed Yusuf Iqbal ran into a burning house in Leeds and pulled an elderly couple and their grandson to safety.
It’s the faith that put them there.
The same faith that made Maysum Abdullah take a knife to the neck to shield his pupils.
When a Muslim name appears in a crime, the faith leads the headline.
When a Muslim name appears in a rescue, it is stripped from the page.
And it stays on the regional page. The Bradford brothers only reached the country because we carried them there.
On Saturday a Muslim delivery driver was surrounded by a mob in Glasgow and hit with a traffic cone.
"Get them out." "Send them back."
They march chanting "Allah, Allah, who the f*** is Allah."
This is Allah. And He said:
"Whoever saves one life, it is as if he had saved all of mankind."
— Qur'an 5:32
That is who you are chanting at.
Two days ago Kellie-Jay Keen stood over Muslim men praying at Speaker's Corner and blocked them. She called the prayer an act of dominance. She called herself an Islamophobe.
That is who you are blocking us from.
Punch us. Stab us. Abuse us. Throw cones at us. Chant at our God. Block us when we pray.
We will still do the right thing.
We will still save your lives.
Their names are Idris Harris, Ans Javid, Mohsin Qayyum, Mohammed Yusuf Iqbal, and Maysum Abdullah.
Muslim men.
Say both.
Now read the comments under this post.
"Don't care. Still deport."
"Still invaders."
"Extra legroom first class."
That is where we are as a country.
