Official Statement Regarding Recent Online Rumors About CoinUp

Recently, Ms. Yi He, Co-Founder of Binance, published a post on X regarding allegations involving Mr. Zhu Pan, including claims of impersonation and fraudulent activities. The post has led to questions and concerns among some users and market participants regarding CoinUp. In response, CoinUp would like to clarify the following:

1. Relationship Between Zhu Pan and CoinUp

Mr. Zhu Pan is not a member of the CoinUp team and has never been involved in the platform’s core management or operational decision-making. His only connection to CoinUp is as a representative of a project that was listed on the exchange.

CoinUp’s business operations, risk management framework, product development, and day-to-day platform management are independently overseen by the CoinUp team. Any attempt to directly associate Mr. Zhu Pan’s personal actions or conduct with CoinUp is inaccurate and misleading.

2. CPX/USDT Market Volatility

The recent short-term volatility in the CPX/USDT trading pair was primarily driven by concentrated selling pressure in the market. CoinUp has initiated a comprehensive review of the relevant trading activity and will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.

3. Platform Security and User Assets

Following a thorough security assessment, we confirm that CoinUp has not experienced any hacking incidents, security breaches, data intrusions, or system vulnerabilities.

Our wallet infrastructure, account systems, and asset custody mechanisms remain secure and fully operational. Deposits, withdrawals, and trading services continue to function normally, and all user assets and data remain safe and intact.

4. Response to False and Misleading Information

CoinUp strongly opposes the spread of false, misleading, or defamatory claims, including unfounded accusations describing the platform as a “scam” or alleging that it has “run away with user funds.”

We reserve the right to pursue legal action against individuals or entities that deliberately disseminate misinformation or damage CoinUp’s reputation through malicious and unverified claims. We encourage users and industry participants to rely on verified facts and official communications, and to refrain from spreading or engaging with rumors.

Since its inception, CoinUp has remained committed to safeguarding user assets and operating with transparency, responsibility, and compliance. The actions of any individual should not be improperly attributed to the platform itself.
