One thing we've consistently observed in public primary schools we work with in rural areas is that many children begin school speaking their mother tongue. As they progress, they're expected to learn, think, and express themselves in English, the language of instruction.
Every reading ambassador has a highlight from the National Read Aloud. Caroline Nduta, a reading ambassador who read with the learners at Naboisho Comprehensive School in Narok County was kind enough to share hers.
Banage guys, Uganda showed in huge numbers.

"Bundle of joy" is the scam. Most people have kids as a retirement plan, then call it love. Next thing you know, you’re born into a vortex of obligation, stuck funding someone’s failed dreams, while they tell you you’re the blessing. 😅😅😅
@ponton_alex@Indunazbraai Actually if you sell them a more affordable monthly option billed annually, they will come for 1-3 months. Come sporadically for 2 months. And stop coming yet they already paid. Any given month you’ll have 90 paid memberships with 30 active gymers
I respect the United Kingdom for many reasons. You'll never hear me saying anything bad about that country. I got the best officers training at Sandhurst 25 years ago. The late Queen, was my first Commander-in-Chief. I got a degree there in political science 27 years ago. I will always seek closer relations with the UK.
@TheMutambuze You’re ignoring the fact that a conflicted child made a public appeal to help his father battle addiction, which has wrecked their lives. Instead of showing empathy, you blame the mother to mask your shame for ignoring the issue.
In the end,
we learned what the poets never dared to write,
that the cruelest fate is not to lose love,
but to carry its ghost,
forever aching,
in a world where it can never exist.

After all the darkness
was always slowly brewing within my soul
never leaving me like everyone else had
So,
it was simply time to let encompass me. And I let it.
