🇮🇷🇺🇸 Opening night proved America could destroy anything it could see, and 168 days proved it could not afford to keep doing it
February 28 was a tactical masterpiece.
Roughly 900 strikes inside twelve hours, the leadership hit in Tehran, air defenses suppressed for the Tomahawks, ships sunk at their moorings in Bandar Abbas.
Iran answered with drones that cruise at 115 mph and cost somewhere between $20,000 and $50,000 apiece, and Washington thought so highly of the design it built its own copy, the LUCAS, at a CENTCOM-confirmed $35,000 a unit.
Now read the ledger. Forty-five Reapers gone at $30 to $50 million each, roughly a quarter of the fleet, with the production line already closed.
Eighty percent of the THAAD inventory burned and about half the Patriots, against an adversary whose ammunition costs less than a used car.

If Canada can beat Qatar in their next game, then surely in this new 48 team World Cup they'll have done enough to qualify for the knockouts.

Wab Kinew: "I hope this war in Iran ends. These gas prices are too high and kids are being killed for no reason. Even the Trump administration cannot explain why they're at war in Iran right now. The Epstein file seems to be as good of a reason as anyone else can figure out. So stop the war."
An unarmed Iranian ship was invited, along with the U.S., to be part of an Indian Naval exercise, and its sailors paraded on land before the president.
The U.S. at the last minute pulled out of the exercise and instead attacked the Iranian ship with a torpedo.
Breaking with all norms of civilization and warfare, we then refused to rescue the drowning survivors. The Sri Lanka Navy was left to pull the dead bodies from the water.
I am hard pressed to think of any other nation throughout history that would do something so cowardly and despicable. We are genuinely in a league of our own, and American media — mostly shrugging off the bombing of a girls school and acting as if carpet bombing Tehran is a normal military tactic — is deeply complicit.
UPDATE: Number of people killed in a strike on an elementary school in southern Iran has risen to 85, according to the semi-official Tasnim news agency

By launching this illegal war of aggression against Iran, Donald Trump has betrayed the American people and his own base, none of whom wanted this.
He has sided with Lindsay Graham, Mark Levin and Benjamin Netanyahu, the most despised laughingstocks on the planet.
By announcing that this is indeed a regime change war (as anyone paying attention and being honest has known all along) he has tied his entire legacy to this action.
If he isn’t able to achieve a regime change, he will have killed a bunch of people for no reason.
If the regime does fall, we have already admitted that we have no one to install and without boots on the ground, it is difficult to install a regime even if you had someone. Trump will be responsible for what comes next- the thing war hawks never consider.
The attacks on Iran by Israel and the United States are illegal, unprovoked and unjustifiable.
Peace and diplomacy was possible. Instead, Israel and the United States chose war.
This is the behaviour of rogue states — and they have jeopardised the safety of humankind around the world with this catastrophic act of aggression.
Our government must condemn this flagrant breach of international law, and urgently pursue a foreign policy based on justice, sovereignty and peace.
Amazing that Pak have dropped the one guy who can bowl into the wicket slower balls and the one guy who gives them batting depth (and won them a game literally ten days ago) but not the one guy whose role nobody has clarity on.
@DeafMango If anyone had two brain cells in the PCB higher ups, they'd force 10/15 player retirements except for Farhan, Saim, Abrar, Tariq, and Nafay. Then replace the PCT with the Shaheen's team. But ofcourse we can't do that until the lot of ten break a body part or simply turn 50yrs old
The people who supported Israel committing a genocide for two years are suddenly very concerned about human rights violations in the Middle East, and it coincidentally happens to be with the regime that is Israel’s chief regional rival. But don’t let that fuck with you.
@VoxP0Pulie@ZAbbasOfficial@PTVSp0rts@captainmisbahpk@shoaib100mph@realshoaibmalik You dont buy what? The facts? Lol Use Google and check who was the leading wicket taker for the whole WC in both 2007 and 2009 and who was the Captain when Pakistan got the Test Mace. Whats next on your non-legendary list? Let me guess, Imran Khan? Bilawal ko legend bana dein?
@VoxP0Pulie@ZAbbasOfficial@PTVSp0rts@captainmisbahpk@shoaib100mph@realshoaibmalik Lol, do you even watch Cricket? Gul was the highest wicket taker of 2009 World Cup that Pakistan won. Misbah took us to #1 ranking in Test, which hasn't been achieved to this day. Aside from Malik, I'd say the other three are pretty legendary and accomplished.
Funny how Indian academics have spiralled so far into their own propaganda that they now mistake Pakistan’s responsible nuclear stewardship as a “fear.” Ironically, this comes from a country where, between 1994 and 2021, at least 18 documented nuclear thefts were reported—over 200 kg of fissile material gone missing.
Attributing Pakistan’s May 10 retaliation to “low nuclear threshold” is laughable. Pakistan’s nuclear assets are not fixed, giving it a credible second-strike capability, unlike India’s, clustered conveniently in zones like Maharajpur. Had things escalated, the fallout would’ve looked a lot worse for India.
As for Mr. Gupta’s claim that the IAF can “devastate all Pakistani airbases without entering 100 km” of airspace—well, that aged fast. The Telegraph’s Memphis Bakar reported how J-10Cs and PL-15s formed an invisible aerial trap, jamming India’s SPECTRA EW system, with at least two Rafales hunted down.
In short, India might want to revisit the advice of its own Lt Gen P.R. Shankar: 𝒅𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒑𝒊𝒄𝒌 𝒂 𝒇𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑷𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏
